"Is it always this nutty?" he had to yell to be heard over the conversations around them.
"Isn't it great?" she yelled back.
Ochre shook his head and did his job as her escort, walking with Sienna and greeting everyone as they walked through the entrance to the main floor on the second story. Everyone they passed greeted Sienna and she always had a smile for them.
The second story was busy as the first. The sim at the mic was singing blues and there were sims dancing on the floor.
Ochre was surprised by one back wall. It was glass and outside sims were swimming in a pool.
"There's a pool back there?" he asked.
"Great isn't it. Mr. Mulligan found this great new architect who goes by 'RachelRosebud'. He loves it so much Mr. Mulligan is going use it in all the new lounges he opens."
"It's different," Ochre agreed. If crazy sims want to go swimming on the second story that's their business.
"Mr. Mulligan," Sienna called pulling Ochre over to a sim.
"Sienna," the sim turned and greeted her. "Beautiful work as always. I knew I was leaving the place in good hands," he added kissing the back of hers.
"Flatterer," she smiled, "this is my date Ochre Palette. Ochre this is Joel Mulligan, the owner of the Kissing Llamas lounge."
"Good to meet you sir," Ochre said shaking his hand.
"Joel, please. Only my employees call me sir."
"Oh, they're playing my song. Ochre come dance with me," Sienna asked.
"I don't dance," Ochre shook his head.
"Then allow me," Joel said offering his hand to Sienna.
"Very well," Sienna said taking his hand and walking to the dance floor.
Ochre wandered over to the juice bar and got a drink from the bartender. He watched as Sienna and Joel danced. Every where he looked everyone was dancing, smiling and laughing. She was good at this he decided. Sienna had a gift for parties and making others happy.
He turned back to the dance floor. He stood up and looked around trying to find them. Neither Joel or Sienna were on the floor anymore.
Ochre left the bar and started searching the place.
He made his way back towards the stairs where the bathrooms were.
He was about to go up and check the roof level when laughter came from the area towards the bathroom. One sim was leaving the bathroom and the door was closing behind them.
Ochre was shocked. Through the glass doors he saw Sienna kissing Joel.
Sienna looked up through the door and saw him. She immediately jumped back and started towards him.
Ochre shook his head and went downstairs.
"Ochre!"
"Ochre, wait," Sienna said following him.
"Why?" he asked stopping at the bottom of the stairs before exiting.
Random Ramblings
Uh oh. Someones been a very naughty girl.
By the way the opinions of Ochre on architecture are his own. (personally I love the lounge and the second story swimming pool)

ReplyDeleteWhile I was reading the part where she invites Ochre to dance and Joel offers because he doesn't dance, I literally thought what if she did that on purpose because she knew he'd refuse and she really wanted to dance with the other guy, he offered because there is something going on between them. Wow, Ochre needs a new Sim. I don't know if there was something already going on between Sienna and Joel but when they kissed I was like I knew it! lol
lol. I don't know if she knew he would refuse but that does make sense. As for something between Sienna and Joel....you'll find out in the next couple of chapters.
