Generation 1 Intermission

Ten years have flown by since the arrest and trial of Eve Templeton, Grey Palette and their hired muscle.

I've gotten better at writing.  My last book made it to the Sim City best seller.  Look for The Betrayal at your local booksellers.

Lean has settled into his new role as the Director of the Palette agency.  He rarely goes out into the field and when he does it's only as support for his cousins that are learning their jobs.

When Ochre was ten Lean and Viridian took him out to one of the space colonies.

Now Ochre is determined to put together his own rocket and take over for Viridian as a space agent.  I worry about that boy of mine going into space but he's happy and doing what he loves.  That's all I ever wanted for him.

River loved drawing as a child when she wasn't playing with her dollhouse.  Now that she's older she's started to paint.  I think she might just take after Grandma Meghan after all.

Hunter is a handful.  While his brother is a thinker this little rascal is a doer.  Since the day he started walking he's been into everything.

Rhidian is a big shot chef now.  He owns and operates three of the best restaurants in Oasis Springs, Willow Creek and the nearby towns.

Mags is still working as Lean's right hand sim at work, managing the computer side of the Agency.

She and Rhidian are still together and still in love.

     They have two children together.

     Cinnabar is the eldest.

Amber was born a year later.

Lean and Mags' older brother Viridian also found a local girl to fall in love with.  He says they have no plans to marry but maybe little Harmony will change her dad's mind?

And Rhonan?  He moved in with his girlfriend.  They definitely have no plans to marry or raise children.  He says they are still children at heart and an actual child wouldn't do well under their care.

As far as work goes he's still performing as a comedian.

Unfortunately it's usually to an empty house.

So much has changed in ten years and still so much hasn't changed at all.

It took a few years but they finally found Rebecca.  She sent a video letter with one of the cousins working in her area to us.  She said she's sorry for leaving the way she did but she's happy where she is now and wishes us the best because she's not coming back and won't contact us again.

I still miss her most days.

Random Ramblings

So this is just a pause between generation one and generation two.  Kind of a here is everyone now and this is what they have been doing.  I'm prepping the story for the next generation now.

I've decided to continue posting since I have a few chapters completed for generation two.  Look forward to the next generation.

    1. thanks. Somehow as I was writing it came out in a first person POV and I just didn't have the heart to edit it so it was more consistent. *whisper* besides it's an intermission chapter so I like it too.
